Welcome to Quest University Canada

At most universities you drop your sons and daughters off at the residence door, say goodbye and cross your fingers. But not at Quest. The parents of "Questers" know that this university is no ordinary place. It has little bureaucracy, great faculty and no alumni. It won't even graduate its first class until 2011. But we feel so strongly about its amazing vision for an intimate, integrated and international liberal arts education, that we want to share the journey.

We have given Quest its greatest assets, our sons and daughters. Dr. David Strangway and the founders of Quest imagined a small university whose graduates can value living well as well as earn a living. A place more adept at graduating problem solvers than problem makers. A one of a kind university in Canada. An inspiration.

Inspiration, of course, can be contagious. Quest not only encourages but welcomes parental involvement. That's because every startup remains a work in progress. In fact the success of Quest depends on students, faculty and parents working together to forge something bold and different.

As parents we can strengthen that vision by sharing Quest's uniqueness. If you know someone who has a son or daughter seeking "fields of knowledge belonging to free citizens," spread the word. Or if you have thoughts and ideas about recruitment, fund raising or just fellowship, contact the Parents' Council.
